Specialty coffee, 100% Arabica, carefully grown in a precise geographical area, carefully picked, processed, selected and freshly roasted, in small batches, specific to the origin and method of processing.
Cherries from Kinyovu were carried on the head by farmers to our Processing Station where they sort the cherries with the farmers. The cherries would then be submerged in water to remove any floating cherries, and weighed for payment.
Cherries selected for fermentation were placed in sealable containers for 90 hours before being placed in the sun for drying and sorting. To ensure consistent drying,the cherries were covered with shade during peak sun time. After 26-30 days, the cherries had sufficiently dried and removed to storage for rest.
Because of the lack of large amounts of water, all lots produced in Ruganda were produced Naturally.
